Roleplay wanted me to do this, so here it is: the description and background of Koy Elekeplau, in reasonable detail. The system that I'm using comes almost completely from media.wizards.com/2016/downloads/DND/PlayerBasicRulesV03.pdf (except the personality; I don't need a die to determine my personality. Further, as agreed in this chat, attribute stats are best 3 out or four d6 rolls).
1. Obviously my race is human; even the giants and dwarves of Zjau-yl are technically "human." Sub-race is Zjau-yl (closest to North Tethyrian).
2. Fighter-wizard multiclass hybrid; will be explained in part 4. The starting equipment will be from the fighter's equipment options; the stuff necessary for wizardry is purchased in step 5.
Fighter: Koy starts out with chain mail, a Great-axe (two-handed), a shield (just because I'm allowed that along with the Great-axe), two additional hand-axes, and a dungeoneer's pack. His fighting style is in Great Weapon Fighting, and his martial archetype is Champion. I chose a skill in Survival.
Wizard: His cantrips are Fire Bolt, Message, and Minor Illusion. His spell-book contains Burning Hands, Chromatic Orb, Color Spray, Disguise Self, Jump, and Sleep, but he generally has Disguise Self and Sleep as his two spells of choice, as they draw the least attention. I chose a skill in Investigation.
3. My rolls, as provided by random.org: 4 5 2 5 (14) 6 1 5 3 (14) 5 2 2 6 (13) 6 6 5 4 (17) 3 2 3 2 (8) 6 3 2 2 (11)
So:
STR: 13
CON: 17
DEX: 11
WIS: 14
INT: 14
CHR: 8
4. Koy Elekeplau is a human male (roughly 5' 5" and 150 lbs). He has dark brown hair, hazel eyes, and an unnaturally pale skin. His alignment is lawful neutral (arguably lawful evil). He speaks Quuzj'mit and whatever the native language is.
Koy Elekeplau (Anglicized) was the second son of an Ugo-yt chieftain, and so, rather than inheriting his father's title and namesake, he was forced to make a name for himself. He gave himself the title "Elekeplau" because he was always overly cautious. This trait had its upsides, such as when his brother tried to assassinate him to prevent civil war, but it also meant that Koy was slow to do a great many things. Escaping the hostile environment his brother set up, he wandered across Lower Mliza with his zjoizjy (look it up in the forum) and ultimately found his way to the site of role-play.
Koy went from nation to nation, educating himself with a wide variety of cultures. As a result, he became extremely culturally versatile. In factions heavily involved in magic, he was a wizard; in factions heavily involved with technology, he became a fighter. He never fully adapted to any culture, including that of his native land. Thus he roamed around the world. Where there was no demand for a warrior, there was a demand for his impressive music abilities on his K'soi-ko (a Bren-so reed pipe made of tall grass stalks).
5. I'm choosing the lesser of the two starting wealths, that of the wizard. The random.org rolls are as follows: 4 3 2 3, so 12 pp. With 5 pp, he purchases a spell-book, and with 1 pp, he purchases a arcane focus. Specifically, he has a rare fused gem, with one side made of yellow tourmaline and one side made of dark blue gahnospinel. For 5 pp, he has a rowboat, with which to travel the realm. For 2 gp, he has his Bren-so grass flute (classify it as a flute or shawm, your choice), for 1 gp he has a net, for 1 gp he has fishing tackle, for 1 gp he has a map/scroll case, and he keeps the remaining five pieces under a watchful eye. He lives a modest lifestyle, earning a gold piece a day and spending it very frugally. He never spends money on thrills.
All right, that pretty much does it. Have fun roleplaying that.
