My question is; What is the current stand of technology.
I know that the Magic-Techno War is (maybe?) still a thing and that both sides are rapidly expanding in their effort to keep their beliefs about their powers intact and are advancing in their knowledge aswell.
But technology is much more complex than just a fireball that you can snort out of your nose.
Is it just steampunk-y in a 1900-style or is it still colonial technology?

It's more late Victorian in feel, but yeah.

I kind of think we need to stay away from going too modern

I actually think that we have already mostly killed the fantasy part of it

Oh, fantasy is existing aslong as there are dragons and elves around.
What you are talking about is the medieval genre. Did you ever hear about Urban Fantasy? That is fantasy set in a modern society.

We've realized our mistake on that front and we're going to re-introduce some medieval elements next game

I'd love to see this reach modern technology. Would be fun.
