Both Archadias are experiencing...difficulty right now. One was killed by the other, who is now being RKOd by some nomads. That, and magic is dead and your birthplace is at the bottom of a massive crater.
Let's hope he's adaptable lol

I mean, he could always spawn somewhere else and claim that he was the Dark Lord, or perhaps the Dark Lord had his essence stored in some object (like a battery).

Or perhaps the Fallen Old Gods, the Dark Ones wish to restore magic to its rightful place above technology so they have brought the Dark Lord back to life. They are still around I assume right? Nobody ever found the Dark Ones that were protecting the scroll and Y'rish kinda just disappeared.
