The Republic of Imeria is a nation based on the principles of strength in unity, it being made out of three semi-sovereign major cities represented in a council (See Government). The nation has a long history of sea trade as both the river Kiefilin and Rezemek flow at the edge of the country into the ocean therefore making it a trading hub to travel into the heart of Imeria.
Society
The Society of the Imeria has many cultures. In the North-west and southern Causeway island resides a strong representation of former Hyrenese and a large following of Harmonism, a minority of Neo-Camvonian Colonists which follow the Fallen One to the east, a dwarven city to the north of Causeway Island and a small community of former Lichen-Kobolds over that is little known about to the west. As the Hyrenese people are the majority not only in population but in politics too the minorities often get ignored what often strains the nation to the edge of breaking apart.
In the center of Imeria, away from the coast, the lines blur out as cultures get either mixed or absolutely replaced by another sense of 'Frontier'-Culture, a new trend to the heart of the continent and its Pilgrims.
Besides its current strong national pride and hardships through its environment the people of the Republic are very fearful of war as they never experienced it, thinking of a simple life as the only life, which involves family and work. Therefore the nation is currently slowly sliding into a state of isolationism which doesn't support the current problem that it faces.
To set themself apart from the old world new fashions arise deriving from sailors or the native tribes. In cities can be often seen a three-edge Hat decorated with feathers and a fancy officer Coat seen by Hyrenese with a bit of pelt on the shoulders that can go down to the hide. Teeth is more rarer to be seen wearing as it is seen as a bit too savage. Leather boots are also liked to be seen with pants that are tucked into it, decorated by a rather large belt or two, which can strangely go over the shoulder or be a normal variety. Stripes on the collar of a coat display a strong sense of patriotism but is mostly worn by politicians.
Festivities mostly are the same as the respective culture and religion, except the introduced independence day.
Current art and music are directed towards patriotism, independence, sea faring and the city life.
Government
The Congress which should represent the people of the Republic, is made out of representatives of every region which are; Riverbend (and Pilgrim's Lands), Kelazos (and Pilgrim's Land), Causeway Island (Dwarfs), New Camvonia. The current lands that are being populated away from the coast are currently not represented or are being represented by other regions. The Kobolds are not represented.
Every region can vote for ten representatives of state for the Congress (40 Representatives) where they will pass laws, bills, referendums and debate. A nation receives one extra representative which they can vote for per 10'000 inhabitants.
The 'Chief of the Nation' gets elected by 10 representatives voted by the Congress, where one representative can vote for two of them. When elected he has a term of five years, whereafter he can be re-elected four times.
The current Chief of the Nation, 'Werlin H.H.D Destilin', resides in Kelazos where the 'House of Congress' is located at the edge of the city. There the nations politicians meet to discuss the matters of the nation.
Past Presidents:
Brenthen Porterstone (3-terms (15)
As he was elected, his first improvements were directed at the economy of the nation, opening it to Noliterre and funding the industrialization and colonization of the nation. Later on he would expand and modernize the military, making it on terms with Camvonia.
Pikeline Fordewey (1-term (5)
His few years of being in the office were marked with unrest as he was the first Camvonian to enter office, which was dubbed a miracle by some and by some a mistake. In the end, his five years in power proved to be the worst next to Brenthen, as his first commands were to bring the Frontier Colonies of the nation more on pair with the culture of the coastline, starting a rebellion on the frontier nearly causing a civil war. In the end he gave up and focused on improving relations between the Regions.
Forsterway Breindelinesto (2-terms (10)
The end of the Pikeline-Terms, as they were dubbed, brought him to the population (mostly Hyren) as betterment, as he was of pure Hyren descend. He improved relations with Noliterre by sending embassies and trade missions and gave the army a bigger budget. In the end he wasn't much of a bringer of change as he was thought to be.
Trinil Camvonian (4-terms (20)
Again, a Camvonian was voted into office which reported a great outbreak of festivals on the Camvonian Coast and a bunch of riots on the Hyrenese Coast. His arrival at the Presidential house were met with foul eggs and tomatos. In the end no-one really could determine why he was able to be brought into office, and thus the election was dubbed the Second-Camvonian-Miracle.
As the riots began he clashed down on them like a Porliter near the jungles of Imeria. Like a Ztier he preyed upon them and quickly brought them down, casting his iron fist over Kelazos. Murmurs and outcries demonized him as the bringer of the end of the republic, but that was far from it. Trinil was a patriot and a preacher of democracy. His first betterments were the 'Act of Culture' which gave the government the increased objection of improving and maintain properties of the public, Arthouses and museums.
So, with some troublemakers, his term slowly changed into one of approval even by the Hyrenese.
He was reelected but the changes he made this time were severe. Seeing that the Noliterrean nations may be a future threat he ordered that any ties with the continent and its nations shall be cut, letting the nation crash into a state of Economical depression.
Again, he would be criticized from left and right, even by his kinmen.
He quickly brought in changes in the economy. Nationalizing former Noliterrean shops, then selling them to Imerian merchants or buisnessmen and letting the borders stay open for immigration but no contact.
Noliterre was in the dark about Imeria.
He was reelected, be it from rigged elections or the fear of the people and made changes in the inland economy, what it was called now and making land cheaper, which boosted the economy but nearly led the government and state into bankruptcy. Nevertheless, the populace was either indifferent or in the shadows about that and he was reelected to his final term.
In this term, he would gradually expand the army like the third president and ordered that many forts shall be build on the coastline and the borders. Soldiers of the Volunteer army made formal contact with the Kobold tribes to the west, offering them a military alliance.
His term ended and was celebrated as one of manifesting the culture of Imeria and securing its place in the world, while aswell proving that Camvonians can lead the nation.
Lodikel Z. Brobear (3-terms, State of War (34)
Seeing that the nation has improved by letting other ethnicities into the office, a dwarf was elected by the populace, as his voting promise was to bring great change to the nation, which many people believed him.
As he was elected, his first orders were to mobilize the army and 'Manifest the Imerian Nation on the Imerian Continent'. He wanted to go to war with the Noliterrean colonies. A nationwide outcry that decried him as a warmonger didn't break his determination to push Noliterre out of the continent.
So the Imerian went to war with the Blackhammer colonies. As they didn't expect it, the Imerian armies pushed through the land, taking the northern tip of the colony. As soon as the Blackhammer army regrouped to the south and tried to fight back the Imerians already had themselves burrowed in.
After long battles and Skirmishes the Blackhammers gave up and held their position to the south. The war never ended but the Republic of Imeria cut the dwarven colonists off from their direct connection to Noliterre.
Imeria had declared and won its first war. Despite the heavy loses that were made after this suprise invasion, the nation began a new renaissance of Romanticism of war and patriotism. The Republic was united. Except. . . the frontier.
And Lodikel had plans for them.

Economy
The economy of the Republic of Imeria is flooded with the companies of other nations, with the most being from Hyren as the market is open for aslong as taxes are payed to the state. With that, only 13.5 % of the economy is controlled by the government, making it a free-market heaven and a land of opportunity.
Industry is scarce but mostly present in major cities, owned by the wealthier companies where there is very shady buisness going on. Child labor is not banned by the state and the companies exploit that relentlessly as they grab for workers left and right at the poorer districts of the cities, of that are many, as 30% of the population earn an estimated amount of 60 𝓚 a month. The 8 % of the population that are considered rich earn an estimated amount of 150 ℱ per month. The estimated amount of money that can be earned by the middle class is 74 ℱ a month.
Shops, workshops (Cobblers, tailors, cabinetmaker, blacksmith etc.), storehouses are there for work where there is no factory, aswell as the docks in the downtown of the city where the sailors make shipments to noliterre ready or the dockyard workers are constructing a new ship.

When you leave the city there are mansions surrounded by lands full of fields of corn, cotton or other strange crops from the new world, filled to the brim with the different races of slaves from the center of Imeria where they are supervised by fusiliers that treat them with care just so that they have the strenght to work.
Further away can be seen the occasional mine but as the mountains and mineral full lands are located further inside the land where the pioneers reside there aren't many and are also filled most of the time with slaves.
The pioneer settlements (That are mostly unregistered by the government) keep up traderoutes to the towns lying near civilization to sell their wares there and bring back weaponry, salt and other things to survive the rowdy enviroment where there are no soldiers to protect them. These settlements mostly reside near plentiful mines, woods or trading hubs to profit from the traveling merchants.
