The Blackhammer Commerce Guild
Located in the Resni Mountain Ranges
The Blackhammer Commerce Guild is a trade-state located in the Resni Mountain Ranges. It was founded by Gilvak II Blackhammer at the start of the Fourth Age. The Blackhammer Commerce Guild is pretty much the offspring of the Resni Dominion. After King Gilvak Blackhammer declared himself King of the Resni Dominion, the Dominion was sent into complete chaos. Eventually the Dominion was no more. At the start of the Fourth Age, Gilvak II Blackhammer, son of Gilvak Blackhammer, sought to restore the Resni Dominion to its former glory. So he gathered his armies and marched out to conquer all of the Resni Mountain Ranges, but sadly there was already a major power growing in the Mountains. Realizing that he won't have a chance against this new power, Gilvak II created the Blackhammer Commerce Guild. Under the protection of the Western Trade Alliance, the Blackhammer Commerce Guild has prospered, making the Guild Elders rich and wealthy. The Blackhammer Commerce Guild idolizes Hoggwin, the God of Commerce. This has led the Mountains of Five to become the ONLY religion in the Blackhammer Commerce Guild.
The Guild Elders
The Guild Elders are a group of Merchants that rule the Blackhammer Commerce Guild. When Gilvak II Blackhammer founded the Blackhammer Commerce Guild, he appointed 10 of the most wealthy and powerful of Dwarven Merchants to help rule. When someone becomes a Guild Elder they are required to add "Elder" before their name and are also required to drop their Dynasty name. The government of the Blackhammer Commerce Guild runs much like their predecessor the Resni Dominion. Whenever they discuss something about the Blackhammer Commerce Guild, they gather in the Guild Hall. One by one, the Guild Elders will put forward their point or argument. Once this is done, each of the Elders will cast their vote on the one they think is best. The point/argument that achieves the highest amount of votes wins. But of course, Gilvak II Blackhammer can step in and overwrite the Guild Elder's decision if it threatened the stability of the Blackhammer Commerce Guild. If a Guild Elder dies, then the remaining Guild Elders will elect a new Guild Elder.

Resources
The Blackhammer Commerce Guild has access to a lot of resources. Most of them are purchased from the markets of other nations, but some are produced in the Blackhammer Commerce Guild's own backyard. The most common resource is Coal. Coal is being mined in the tonnes in the southern mines, most notably in Jastarnia. This massive supply of Coal is providing a lot of money for the Blackhammer Commerce Guild. The second most common resource is Iron. Iron is mainly found in the Fabarrelinho Mountain Range. The third most common resource is Ruby. Ruby is considered a very valuable resource for decoration and adornment. It is found in the heart of Mount Caniceira. The next most common resource is Gold. Although not produced in high quantities, Gold is prized in the markets, making a hefty profit. Then there are Emeralds. Found only near the massive volcano in the Fabarrelinho Mountain Range. Only one tonne of Emeralds have ever been produced in about 100 years, thus it is priceless in the markets. Because food isn't produced in the Blackhammer Commerce Guild, it has to be bought off the market. As there are so many mouths to feed, food has become a valuable commodity in the markets of Partry.
Language
Dwarven Krashnak is the official language of the Blackhammer Commerce Guild. It was first made when the languages of the first Dwarves in Noliterre mingled with the local languages. Soon they merged into one language called Dwarven Krashnak. Throughout the four Ages of Noliterre, Dwarven Krashnak was the most common language in the Resni Mountain Ranges. Although there are many other Dwarven languages, Dwarven Krashnak seems to be the most popular of them all.
Colonization
The Guild Elders of the Blackhammer Commerce Guild take their colonization quite seriously. The Guild Elders see it as a chance to improve trade and gain more money. In the Fourth Age, the Blackhammer Commerce Guild currently owns a large portion of territory in the new land of Imeria. This land is called Blackhammer Imeria. After the discovery of Imeria and the fall of the Resni Dominion, the Blackhammer Commerce Guild sent a colonization force out to Imeria. They landed in the Northern parts of Imeria, founding the town of Ryzos. In the following years, more and more people are interested in Imeria, causing an influx of immigrants. Soon, the population of Ryzos went from 12,452 to 23,857. This new influx of immigrants was causing a problem, there wasn't enough food to go around. There wasn't enough ships to provide a steady supply of food from Noliterre, so the Guild Elders approved of the making of an expeditionary force to explore further into Imeria. The expeditionary force quickly gained the favor off the public, and soon thousands were donating money to their cause. It wasn't long until a true fighting force was created, and then they marched deeper into unknown territory. Much to their surprise, the expiditionary force came across the Hyrenese settlement of Delagon. This forced them to march east. Eventually they came across a long river that connects all the way to the sea. Realizing the importance of this location, the settlement of Kelack was founded. This further promoted another expedition to travel even deeper into Imeria. After a couple of days, the expeditionary force found themselves under attack from some natives, later called Kobolts. Forced to retreat, the expeditionary force was eventually disbanded. It was their actions that saved the town of Ryzos as farmlands were quickly made in the newly discovered land. Now the Blackhammer Commerce Guild controls a reasonable portion of Imeria. The Guild Elders will never forget the aggressiveness of those Kobolts, and will probably go to war with the United Kobolt Tribes in the near future.
The Blackhammer Dynasty
The Blackhammer Dynasty is arguably the most dominant out of all the Dynasties. They are one of the 17 Dwarven Dynasties in the Resni Mountain Ranges. They were the first Dwarven Dynasty to come to Noliterre, this is something they hold dearly. The history of the Blackhammer Dynasty stretches all the way back to the Second Age, before the founding of the Kingdom of Nikia. Their history probably goes way back to the First Age but all records of it have been lost. The Blackhammer Dynasty were the founders of the great Kingdom of Nikia. Because they were the most powerful Dynasty, no other Dynasty opposed their rule. This led to them achieving many things no one else has ever done before. The Blackhammer Dynasty was devoted to the light and the good side. This led to them joining in the war against the Dark Lord and his evil armies. The Kingdom of Nikia faced the brunt of the evil forces, as the Supreme Republic burst into Vondexa and smashed into the Dwarven Armies. Only just managing to survive, the Blackhammer Dynasty survived to see the destruction of the Dark Lord. Thus ending the Second Age.
In the Third Age, now under the command of Gilvak Blackhammer, the Blackhammer Dynasty attempted to recreate the Kingdom of Nikia. But the Ironfoot Dynasty, the Blackhammer Dynasty's most loyal ally, crushed them without hesitation. As the Ironfoot Dynasty united the Resni Mountain Range, the Blackhammer Dynasty was forced to watch under Ironfoot rule. When the Resni Dominion was founded, the Blackhammer Dynasty was forced to serve the Ironfoot Dynasty. If they didn't, they were bet into submission. This caused major hatred in the Blackhammer Dynasty, especially in Gilvak Blackhammer.
In the Great War of the Mountains, the Blackhammer Dynasty ignored the call to arms by the Ironfoot Dynasty. Instead of getting involved in the war, the Blackhammer Dynasty stayed neutral. The only thing stopping Gilvak from joining the Rebels was that the Stonelock Dynasty followed the Fallen One, and the Blackhammers are not fond of the Fallen One. When the Battle of Urs was started, Gilvak saw an opportunity to regain control over the Resni Mountain Ranges. So he gathered his Legions and marched out to aid the Ironfoot Dynasty. Arriving just in time, the Blackhammer Dynasty charged into the rear of the Camvonian Army, sending many Camvonians flying from the impact. The Battle was long and deadly, it eventually ended when Gilvak struck Halgord Stonelock down with one blow. After gathering what warriors were still alive, Gilvak Blackhammer marched on towards Gilye, the capital of the Resni Dominion.
Upon arriving at Gilye, Gilvak was welcomed with open arms as a hero. Prince Raegar Ironfoot even praised him for his aid. Though to the peoples surprise, Gilvak rejected the praise. Shocked at what Gilvak had just said, Prince Raegar Ironfoot demanded that Gilvak leave his presence. Instead of leaving, Gilvak turned around and swung his battle-axe, beheading Prince Regar Ironfoot. He declared that "The true King of the Mountains has come!". Instead of moving to arrest Gilvak, the Iron Guard just stood there and watched as the people praised and chanted Gilvak's name. Not forgetting the Ironfoot Dynasty's hostility at the start of the Third Age, Gilvak ordered the execution of all members from the Ironfoot Dynasty. The rule of the Blackhammer Dynasty had begun. Without achieving anything of note, except losing the colony in Imeria to a bunch of Rebels, the Blackhammer Dynasty somehow managed to bring about the fall of the Resni Dominion, near the end of the Third Age.
In the beginning of the Fourth Age and under the rule of Gilvak II Blackhammer, son of Gilvak Blackhammer, the Blackhammer Dynasty tried one of their conquests again, hoping for a better result. After conquering the Grimhelm Dynasty in the Kerloge region, the Blackhammer Legions marched towards Partry. They succeeded in breaking the defenses made by the Gearlock Dynasty in Jinheiros, and marched onto conquer Partry. Though bad news made its way to Gilvak II Blackhammer. Scouts located in the Bodyke region, reported activity of a new great power calling themselves Neo-Nikia. Realizing that they would be destroyed by this "Neo-Nikia", the Blackhammer Legions were forced to settle down in Partry. Gilvak II Blackhammer founded the Blackhammer Commerce Guild in Partry, and joined the Western Trade Alliance in order to save his people. This proved successful as they were saved from the threat by Neo-Nikia.
Now, the Blackhammer Dynasty is leading the markets of Noliterre, establishing many allies and trade partners. After forming good relations with Neo-Nikia, the Blackhammer Dynasty has established an alliance with their Resni brothers. They even went as far as building a Railroad throughout the Resni Mountain Ranges to bring the two closer. The Blackhammer Dynasty has surely passed the many challenges time has brought upon them. The Blackhammer Dynasty is unbroken.
Mount Caniceira
Mount Caniceira is a mountain that stretches approximately 5,327 meters high into the sky. It is located to the north of Partry and on the eastern coastline of the Resni Mountain Ranges. Although it is officially part of the Abela Mountain Range in Neo-Nikian territory, Mount Caniceira was separated from it due to dispute over who should control all of the Abela Mountain Range. In the year 2598, the Guild Elders of the Blackhammer Commerce Guild officially put forward the plans of a new scientific laboratory, called the Caniceira Observation Facility (C.O.F.). This new facility is to be constructed on the highest peak of Mount Caniceira. The facility will greatly improve the scientific output of the Blackhammer Commerce Guild by about 12%. It should finish construction in the year 2603, 5 years later.

Pinheiros
Pinheiros is the only entrance to the City of Partry by land. It is located to the northeast of Partry. Anyone who wants to enter or leave the City of Partry will have to go through Pinheiros, thus giving it the nickname "Gateway to Partry". Throughout history, many people have taken advantage of Pinheiros's defensible location. Thousands of soldiers would die before they get past Pinheiros. In the Third Age, The Gearlock Dynasty took advantage of Pinheiros and founded a city in Partry. During the Great War of the Mountains (Resni Civil War) in the Third Age, the Free States of Solva attempted an invasion on Partry. They were forced to try a naval invasion as marching into Pinheiros would be too disastrous. In the Fourth Age, the Blackhammer Commerce Guild is using Pinheiros as a gateway into the City of Partry. Tollbooths were set up at the entrance so all visitors are forced to pay a hefty tax to the Guild before entering. This has proven to be a very efficient way of collecting gold. Because of this, Pinheiros is generating a third of the Blackhammer Commerce Guild's income.
Jastarnia
Jastarnia is a group of mountains south of Partry. It is effectively the "tail" of the larger Fabarrelinho Mountain Range. Jastarnia protects Partry from any invasion from the south as constant storms and large rockfalls prevent anyone using the old mountain paths. Rich deposits of Coal are found in most of the mountains in Jastarnia, providing a massive supply of Coal. After the founding of the Blackhammer Commerce Guild, geologists were sent out with orders to explore the surrounding mountains for minerals and resources. An elite group of geologists came across Jastarnia and its rich Coal deposits. Mines were constructed in the thousands to collect all of the Coal. In the year 2598, an estimated 12,000 Coal Mines were being used to mine the Coal. The vast supply of Coal also led to a Steampunk Revolution which sparked a new craze for Steampunk.
Fabarrelinho
Fabarrelinho is the biggest Mountain Range inside Blackhammer Commerce Guild territory. It is located to the east of Partry. It is assumed that there are over 200 mountains in the Fabarrelinho Mountain Range, The actual number of how much mountains there are is unknown as no one has been bothered to count them all. The Fabarrelinho Mountain Range provides a barrier between Neo-nikia and the Blackhammer Commerce Guild. Everyone that has tried to cross the Fabarrelinho Mountain Range has never been heard of ever again. So it is best to not try and cross it. Legends say that there are giants made of stone, commonly called Mountain Giants, lurking in the Fabarrelinho Mountain Range. The most notable feature of the Fabarrelinho Mountain Range is the massive volcano located at the heart of the Mountain Range. Everyday it spits out large amounts of ash and the occasional molten rock.
Alvisquer
Alvisquer is one of the few forests in the Resni Mountain Ranges. It is located to the north of Fabarrelinho Mountain Range and to the east of Pinheiros. Alvisquer is mainly made up of Pine Trees but it isn't uncommon for the odd Oak or Spruce to appear. Ever since the start of the First Age, Alvisquer has been a provider of wood for many civilizations in the Resni Mountain Ranges. The Gearlock Dynasty, the original inhabitants of Partry , relied on the wood from Alvisquer for industry and for construction. Most of the City of Partry is made up of wood, 87% to be precise. All of it came from Alvisquer. The southernmost part of Alvisquer is charred from the fires of a Dragon. In the Third Age, King Ironfoot the Brave (the founder of the Resni Dominion) was marching his army of 10,000 Dwarven Warriors through Alvisquer when a gigantic Dragon attacked. The battle was disastrous for the Dwarves as the Dragon unleashed its fiery breath. King Ironfoot eventually took down the Dragon though how he did remains a mystery. The battle left behind a charred and burnt forest.
