The southern tip of Hogni Island is one of the southernmost points in Noliterre. But, there is a place even further south. A small island, the sothernmost point in Noliterre according to some maps. Some, not because of the island's small size and insignificance, but because of what's on the island. But first, a little more about the island. It's small, you could barely notice it if you were sailing past it were it not for the object on the island. It's completely barren and has no strategic value, thus the nations that have ruled over Hogni Island never bothered to do anything on there. Oficcially, maps that come from the southern parts of Noliterre do not list the isle as the southernmost point of Noliterre, while maps that have been made in the northern parts do in fact acknowledge it's existance as the southernmost territory. The mysterious object on the island itself looks very out of place on the small island. It's a house. A house made of brick and stone. It's two stories tall, and barely fits on the island. So why is it there, and why does everyone avoid it? According to most sources, it was built there during the times of the Imperium, and the island was apparently owned by a rich woman who wanted a house somewhere unique and exotic. After the house's completion, one day (with other sources saying two days and even up to a week) after moving in, the woman who owned the house died in a terrible accident - a strong storm came and the roof collapsed, taking with it the second floor and then the woman's life. Her son inherited the house, fixing it up and then selling it off to anyone willing to but it. Eventually, a buyer was found. A fisherman, who had the means to travel from and to the island house. A day later, friends of his stopped by the house, only to find the man missing, despite his small ship and all his belongings still there. There are still many theories as to what happened, but to this day the the most common. The lady who died now haunts the house, likely getting rid of anyone who enters the house. Today, it's been robbed clean by reckless theives, though because of the house itself being very sturdy, it still stands tall, with only a few broken windows and a few peices of furniture left. Because of the island's past, noone stops by there without reason. Some beleive there is money to be earned, as roumors persist that the wealthy lady hid many valuables somewhere in the house, relics from the times of the Imperium, but noone has come back alive, or with anything to show.
Silent Isle is named so just because it is that- silent, and many say that it should stay that way until the sea swallows the island and destroys the house.
